CaF - Crypto and Forex Widget is an Android application that displays cryptocurrency and currency prices through home screen widgets.

Data Collection

• No Personal Data: This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about users.
• No User Accounts: The app does not require user registration or account creation.
• No Analytics: We do not use analytics services or tracking tools.
• No Servers of Our Own: We operate no server that receives your data. The app contacts the third-party services listed below directly from your device.

Network Usage

To show prices and icons, the app requests data directly from the following third-party services. Because these requests are made from your device, each service necessarily sees your device's IP address and the standard information any web request carries. We neither receive nor store any of it.

Market data

• Binance (api.binance.com) – cryptocurrency prices and price history
• CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com) – cryptocurrency listings
• Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.app) – currency exchange rates, sourced from the European Central Bank

Icons and images

• CoinCap (assets.coincap.io) – cryptocurrency icons
• CoinGecko (assets.coingecko.com) – cryptocurrency icons

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles the requests it receives.

Purchases

The app is free and contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads.

Data Storage

• All data is stored locally on your device
• No data is transmitted to servers operated by us
• Widget preferences are stored in Android's shared preferences

Permissions

• INTERNET: Required to fetch price data and icons
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check network connectivity before making requests

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
