Price Widget is a simple Android application that displays real-time cryptocurrency and stock prices through home screen widgets.
Data Collection
- No Personal Data: This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about users.
- No User Accounts: The app does not require user registration or account creation.
- No Analytics: We do not use analytics services or tracking tools.
Network Usage
The app connects to public APIs to fetch real-time price data:
- CoinGecko API for cryptocurrency prices
- Yahoo Finance API for stock prices
- Clearbit API for company logos
These connections are made solely to retrieve publicly available price information.
Data Storage
- All data is stored locally on your device
- No data is transmitted to our servers
- Widget preferences are stored in Android’s secure shared preferences
Permissions
The app requests minimal permissions:
